Bring Your Own Home
Campervan Pitches
If you have your own home on wheels, why don’t you come and park up for a few nights for some breathtaking views of the Fife countryside?
At Airdit we have 2 camper van pitches available from the start of April until the end of September, for Campervans and Motorhomes that are under 6.5m in length. Both our pitches are fantastic places to stay if you are touring around Scotland and fancy a break from the traditional campsite setting. Our pitches both have different set ups but both guarantee beautiful views, peace and seclusion with your one true love - your van.

The Copse
The Copse is our campervan pitch located on the western edge of the woods, yet still surrounded by centurion beech trees and a coppiced sycamore. You can pull in, park up and instantly be alone in the trees with views out over the neighbouring fields.
The pitch has both a water stand pipe and a 16amp electrical hookup, along with fairy lights, a fire pit and comfy Adirondack chairs, so you can make the most of your surroundings as soon as you arrive.

Eden View
Half way along the track into Airdit woods, Eden View sits all by itself, jutting into the valley below. The views are completely unspoilt, being able to see right down the Eden Valley to St Andrews.
This is our off-grid pitch for those whose vans or motorhomes are completely self sufficient and don’t need a water or electric hook up. So bring yourself, your campervan and we will provide the views, the fire pit and a set of adriondack chairs so you can sit back and take it all in.
A few things you should know…
-
At this moment, the campervan spots (like the treehouse) are for adults only.
-
There is not toilet or shower block at Airdit. Both Eden View and The Copse are designed for self sufficient vehicles and guests. Therefore, everyone who visits must have an onboard toilet.
-
We are surrounded by beautiful open fields, some of which have livestock in them. As both The Copse and Eden View are not enclosed, we ask that all pets be kept on a lead at all times. Failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave your pitch immediately.
-
There are no facilities on site to dispose of black or grey water, so any camper visitors must have toilet facilities onboard. There are also no waste or recycling bins, so ALL waste MUST be taken away at the end of your stay.
-
At Airdit we also have other guests who may be using the woods so you may see other people from time to time. Then again you may not see another soul your entire stay. The only other vehicles using the track are the other people who will be staying either in the treehouse or at the camper van pitch.

Due to the access from the main road, our site is unsuitable for vehicles over 6.5m in length.
